About A.S.N Degree College
A.S.N Degree & P.G College has evolved as an educational institute which recognized the importance of education which enhances the personality development. Under the leadership of founder Shri. Annabathuni Sathyanarayana (Late), the former minister, with the assistance of other service minded elders, and with the kind permission of government of Andhra Pradesh , Nagarjuna University in the academic year 1988-89, the college was established by Goutham Buddha Educational Society(Regd). Initially, it began by introducing B.A; B.Com Degree Courses taught in English and Telugu Medium, in the next year, the advanced courses like B.Sc Degree with Computer Science, Electronics, Physics and Mathematics Combinations were introduced.
For these Courses, Laboratories with modern equipment were formed. In the year 1991-92. B.Sc Degree Courses with the combination of Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry was started in English Medium.
Under the motivation of Shri. Sathyanarayana, with the immensive co-operation of the local people, discipline and Talent of Students, Faculty with service motto, within short span of time, the college developed a lot. The founder who strived hard for the growth of college, Expired on 09-01-1992. By his sudden death, the college was stunned. With the holy encouragement of beloved father and kind co-operation of his brother Shri. Annabathuni Sravan Kumar, the present correspondent Shri. Annabathuni Siva Kumar has taken over the leading responsibility of college and working with sincere commitment.
In the education of Tenali, for the first time by overcoming many obstacles, this college began the P.G Courses M.C.A in the academic Year 1997-98. A Computer Laboratory not only with high standards but also with Internet facility was formalized. Then RCC buildings were constructed newly. Then after many famous P.G Courses were introduced. And also a Pharmacy College was established.
In the academic year 1998-99, B.C.A Courses and Later M.Sc (I.S) Curses were started newly.With limited resources, the college has performed its duty time to time by meeting the necessities of the people, by starting new courses and providing education with high standard, achieved good results. To proceed efficiently and to give the society educational services, the college is urging for people's valuable co-operation.
The Founder Shri. Annabathuni Sathyanarayana moulded the college as ideal with a wide heart and uniformity. With his massive encouragement, the management, teaching, non-teaching staff and students all contributed their part to let the college proceed idealistically for the sake of society and dedicate themselves for he progress of society.
